Do Koreans play cricket?

This is Seri Chang from South Korea and playing cricket for Korea women’s team. I created my blog and I’m writing the first article to let everyone know about Korea cricket.

Korea has massive population fans of baseball and football. Baseball in Korea hasn’t been long since it grew up as a national sport. After Korea war US was in charge of South Korea since then Korea heavily affected by States unimaginably. If you have been to Korea and talk with Koreans in English, you can directly see that most of Korean people speak “American English”. So this affects Korean people have no idea with British things like cricket, accents, tea, or culture.

I would like to answer the question of title, Yes they do! And I am the on e who playing cricket in Korea.

Everyone can expect population of cricket is way less than baseball or football. But Korea cricket has national team both in men and women. Both are participating in International games especially in T20. Unfortunately women’s team couldn’t make World Cup, even qualifiers but men’s team went for World Cup qualifiers few times.

In next article, I will tell you about Korea cricket’s international match participations .

Thank you for reading this broken English article!

(I am not a native English speaker and still learning English🥲)
